So what’s the catch? There isn’t one! If you feel like the qualification isn’t for you after completing the first module, you are not obligated to buy the remaining modules.
What will I study?
You receive full access to the first module of the qualification, “Preparation and Planning to Work as an Interpreter for Level 3”. This will allow you to trial the course and complete all activities, assignments and research included in the course. This will allow you to see if the course is right for you without committing to the full price. Topics included in this module are:
- What is Public Service Interpreting?
- What’s in a Code of Conduct?
- Useful Tips for Public Service Interpreters
- The Modes of Interpreting
- Developing your Knowledge of Assignments
- What should you actually say while you are interpreting?
- Interpreting strategies
- Managing the flow and repairing mistakes
And much more!
How long will this take to complete? On average, it should take around 10-20 hours to complete, but our qualification is very flexible and gives you the chance to log in and out freely at your convenience. You have 72 hours in which to complete this free trail.
What if I want to continue with the qualification?
If you enjoy the first module, feel like the qualification is something that would benefit you and you would like to continue, you can buy module 2 for £255.00 or alternatively, buy all three remaining modules for £695.00 – a saving of over £85!
Your 72 hour trail starts once you have enrolled onto it. This time will be monitored and you will be un-enrolled once the 72 hour free trail is up.
