NRPSI – National Register of Public Service Interpreters

The NRPSI (National Register of Public Service Interpreters) (www.nrpsi.org.uk) is the UK’s independent voluntary regulator of professional interpreters specialising in public service. They maintain a public register of professional, qualified and accountable interpreters. The National Register is free of charge to access and searchable online.

Every interpreter on the NRPSI Register has met the standards set for education, training and practice in public service. All Registrants are subject to the NRPSI Code of Professional Conduct and ISL recommend that all professional, trained and qualified linguists join the register to promote professional standards within the industry.

The NRPSI Qualifications Committee have reviewed ISL's Level 6 Diploma in Public Service Interpreting and has determined that applicants who pass the qualification including the optional module ‘Supporting Interpreting Through Draft Written Translations From and Into English’ will meet the qualification registration requirements for 'Full' status.
