The School of Languages at Leeds Metropolitan University and International School of Linguists are proud to announce the development and approval of the Vocational Certificate in Interpreting, a professional accreditation programme for public service interpreters. This programme has been developed in conjunction with industry experts and academic staff at Leeds Metropolitan University, and adheres to the UK National Operating Standards in Interpreting.

The Vocational Certificate in Interpreting carries 45 credit points at Level 4 on the UK Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (the equivalent of the first year of a bachelor’s degree) and is delivered via the distance learning platform International School of Linguists.
